
Italian Pizza Recipe (Homemade)
Ingredients
For Dough
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (or pizza flour)
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dry yeast
- ¾ cup warm water
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For Topping
- ½ cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese
- Tomato slices
- Onion slices
- Capsicum
- Olives (optional)
- Oregano
- Chili flakes
Method
Step 1: Make Dough
- Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Rest 10 minutes.
- Add flour, salt, olive oil.
- Knead soft dough for 8–10 minutes.
- Cover and rest 1 hour.
Step 2: Prepare Pizza
- Roll dough into round shape.
- Place on tray/pan.
- Spread pizza sauce.
- Add cheese and toppings.
Step 3: Bake
- Oven: 220°C for 12–15 minutes
or - Pan: Cover and cook on low flame for 15–20 minutes.
Step 4: Serve
Sprinkle oregano + chili flakes.
