Vegetable Fried Rice
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked rice (cooled)
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic (chopped)
- 1 small onion (sliced)
- ½ cup carrot (chopped)
- ½ cup capsicum (chopped)
- ½ cup cabbage (shredded)
- 2 tablespoons spring onion
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan or wok.
- Add chopped garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add onion and cook until slightly soft.
- Add carrot, capsicum, and cabbage. Stir-fry on high flame for 2–3 minutes.
- Add cooked rice and mix gently.
- Add soy sauce, salt, and black pepper.
- Toss everything well for 2 minutes.
- Garnish with spring onion and serve hot.
Serving Tip
Serve with Manchurian, chili paneer, or tomato ketchup.
