Shahi Paneer with Butter Naan

Shahi Paneer

250g paneer, cubed

2 tbsp butter

1 tbsp oil

2 onions, chopped

2 tomatoes, chopped

10 cashews

1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

1 tsp red chili powder

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp garam masala

1 cup fresh cream

2 tbsp coriander leaves

Salt to taste

1 Heat oil and butter in a pan. Sauté onions until golden brown.

2 Add ginger-garlic paste, tomatoes, cashews, chili powder, turmeric, and salt. Cook until soft.

3 Blend the mixture into a smooth gravy.

4 Return gravy to the pan, add cream and garam masala. Simmer for 5 minutes.

5 Add paneer cubes and cook gently for another 5 minutes.

6 Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.

Butter Naan

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup yogurt

1 tsp sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1 tsp baking powder

2 tbsp oil

Warm water as needed

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp chopped coriander

1 Mix flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, yogurt, and oil. Add water and knead into soft dough.

2 Cover and rest the dough for 1 hour.

3 Divide dough into balls and roll into naan shapes.

4 Cook on a hot tawa or pan until bubbles appear, then flip and cook both sides.

5 Brush generously with butter.

6 Garnish with chopped coriander and serve hot.
